People’s Insurance opens state-of-the-art service counter at its headquarters

Opening of the new service counter by People’s Bank Chairman Sujeewa Rajapakse, People’s Insurance Chairman Isuru Balapatabendi, People’s Bank CEO/General Manager Ranjith Kodituwakku and People’s Insurance CEO Deepal Abeysekara 

 


With the aim of providing seamless insurance services to its customers, People’s Insurance PLC ceremonially opened a state-of-the-art new service counter at the People’s Bank Headquarters premises at No. 75, Sir Chittampalam A Gardiner Mawatha, Colombo 2. 

Strengthening the relationship between two state entities, People’s Insurance PLC, in collaboration with People’s Bank, unveiled the insurance service centre to enhance the accessibility of their servicing and to deliver convenience to its clientele. 

The new service counter was opened in the presence of People’s Bank Chairman Sujeewa Rajapakse, People’s Insurance PLC Chairman Isuru Balapatabendi, People’s Bank Chief Executive Officer/General Manager Ranjith Kodithuwakku and People’s Insurance PLC Chief Executive Officer Deepal Abeysekara. The event was also attended by customers and senior officials of People’s Bank and People’s Insurance PLC.

People’s Bank’s customers and staff members now have the opportunity to experience an array of corporate and personal insurance solutions from the business counter of People’s Insurance with personalised service. Customers may avail hassle-free and customised insurance facilities on commercial property insurance, marine insurance, liability insurance, group health insurance, engineering insurance (CAR/EAR) and for their personal insurance, home insurance, individual medical insurance, solar insurance, motor insurance and travel insurance covers, amongst many other general insurances. 

In addition to the plethora of insurance facilities provided at the counter, People’s Insurance also offers a host of comprehensive value-added services for its customers. These compromise of both ‘online’ services such as proposal filling, insurance cover adjustments, premium settlements, insurance cover note issuance, obtaining information on insurance plans and ‘offline’ services such as claim-processing and document management.

Keeping the customers best interests at the heart of their operations, the People’s Insurance service counter offers attractive rates, which customers can benefit from. The customers also can avail a 0% interest installment credit card payment plan for insurance premium settlements.
