Sandra Walgama appointed to Pan Asia Bank Board

Senior banker Sandra A. Walgama has been appointed to the Pan Asia Bank PLC Board as a Non-Executive Independent Director.

Walgama was the former Senior Deputy General Manager – Personal Banking at Commercial Bank. She has over 40 years of banking experience and specialises in banking, finance, wealth management, corporate banking, and SME/retail banking. 

She is a Director at CBC Myanmar Micro Finance Company Ltd. She was previously a Director at CBC Tech Solutions Ltd. 

She is an Associate of the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka, Associate of the Institute of Administrative Accounting (London), and has a diploma in bank management from the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka and diploma in wealth management from the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment London.

With the latest appointment, the Board of Pan Asia Banking Corporation comprises J.S.B. Rangamuwa (Chairman), M.Y.A. Perera (Deputy Chairman), N.R. Tillakeratne (Executive Director/CEO), T. Murakami, M.A. Abeynaike, H. Ota, J.D.N. Kekulawala, B.D.A. Perera, C.M.W. Weerawardena and S.A. Walgama.
