Seminar on implementation of digital signatures for banks and finance sector

A seminar/webinar on the Implementation of Digital Signatures for Banks, Finance Companies, Importers, Exporters, Financial Sector Institutions, BOI, IRD, CEB & other Government institutions will be held on 2 February 2022 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Movenpick Hotel Colombo.

With digital signatures being mandated to the banking sector and other financial institutions, which some of the banks have already implemented, a shift in doing business in an effective, efficient and expeditious way has emerged. It is imperative that many Government and private sector organisations – banks, financial institutions, importers, exporters, BOI, IRD, etc., be aligned to face this new challenge, which will assist Sri Lanka move up in the international ‘Doing Business Index’.

This seminar/webinar will impress upon the participants how to change over to implement into digital signatures and make their organisations stand out.

The keynote address at this event will be delivered by senior economist and LankaClear Chairman Dr. Kenneth De Zilva, while LankaClear General Manager/CEO Channa De Silva will deliver the main technical presentation. ICTA General Counsel Jayantha Fernando will speak on the legal issues and its implications on DS, and Commercial Bank Head of Retail Products and Digital Channels Pradeep Banduwansa will join the panel discussion. Former Senior Advisor at the Ministry of Finance Malik Cader will moderate the discussion.
