Abans Finance PLC has announced the appointment of Sharini Kulasinghe as an Independent Non-Executive Director.

Sharini is the Principal Investment Officer at DAI Asset Management (DAI-AM), based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. She leads pipeline development, underwriting, transaction execution, and relationship management for DAI-AM’s Eurasia portfolio.

Prior to joining DAI-AM in 2021, Sharini was the Co-head of Investment Banking at Asia Securities Holdings in Colombo, a firm she joined as a Vice President in 2013.

She began her career as a part-time Program Associate for the Seed Capital Development Fund. She also previously held a variety of investment roles at DAI-AM between 2008-2013, serving as an Investment Analyst, Associate, and Officer.

Sharini received a BA in History from Bard College and an MSc in Global Finance from The New School.
