Sri Lanka Insurance opens new branch in Ingiriya

Sri Lanka Insurance opened its newest branch in Ingiriya providing total insurance solutions with a hassle-free customer experience for the customers in the area.

The new branch opened its doors to customers on 11 March amidst a gathering of customers, staff members and well-wishers. SLIC Director Priyantha Abesinghe, Chief Executive Officer Chandana L Aluthgama, Chief Officer Business Development Rukman Weeraratne, Chief Information Officer Aloka Jayawardana and members from the corporate management graced the occasion.

The new branch is located at Isuru Building, Padukka Road, Ingiriya and with the opening of the Ingiriya branch, SLIC now serves customers through an extensive network of 154 branches.  Established in 1962, Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation is the largest government-owned insurance company in Sri Lanka, with a managed asset base of over Rs. 193 billion and a Life fund of over Rs. 100 billion, the largest in the local insurance industry. The company is also the first and only local insurer to secure Fitch Ratings AA+ (lka) rating for its long-term financial stability and strong capital position.
