Sri Lanka Insurance recognises top sales achievers at Star Awards 2021

Sri Lanka’s pioneer insurer, Sri Lanka Insurance recognised and celebrated its top sales achievers for their outstanding performance during the year of 2021 at the most glamorous event of the year on the SLIC calendar – The Star Awards 2021 hosted at Monarch Imperial, recently.

Over 400 of the best achievers across all categories such as Life, Motor and Non-Motor, were honoured with awards and recognitions for the titles of Best Sales Personnel, Best Team Leaders, Best Group Leaders and Best Branch Managers, Best Regional Managers and Best Insurance Advisors were recognised and rewarded, under the respective business categories. The special award for the 10 best achievers were also presented with the ‘best of the best’ recognition, under each category.

All Island Best Branch Sales Manager (Life) – K.M.P.B. Kulathunga, All Island Best Branch Sales Manager (General Insurance) – T. Anurasiri, All Island Best Regional Sales Manager (Life) – Namal P. Liyanage, All Island Best Regional Sales Manager (General Insurance) – Ranjith Hewapathirana All Island Best Life Insurance Advisor/MDRT – Top of the Table (TOT) Member –  M.M.S.K. Nawaratne, All Island Best Team Leader – R.M.A.P.K. Ranasinghe, All Island Best Group Leader – W.G.T. Kumara, All Island Best Motor Insurance Advisor – E.S. Fernando, All Island Best Non Motor Insurance Advisor – U.G. Saman, All Island Best General Insurance Advisor – M.N. Gunathilaka and All Island Best Insurance Advisor Motor(Consecutive Award) – E.S. Fernando, were awarded and recognised at the event for their exemplary work and commitment showcased throughout the year.

Over 450 SLIC personnel including Chairman, Board of Directors, CEO and the corporate management attended the event. The event also felicitated members of the achievers’ clubs, Platinum Star Club and Platinum Club, while the 182 members’ delegation who were selected for the international Million Dollar Round Table conference were also awarded at the ceremony.

The glamorous event concluded, further establishing SLIC’s mission of being a customer-focused company with a highly skilled and an outstanding team of employees, who constantly innovate in providing the best insurance services to the valued customers.
