Standard Chartered appoints Tamani Dias as Head of Corporate Coverage

The Standard Chartered Sri Lanka has appointed Tamani Dias as Executive Director/Head of Corporate Coverage.

Tamani will oversee Sri Lanka’s global subsidiaries business, in addition to her existing responsibilities leading the local and international corporates business.

Tamani joined Standard Chartered in December 2014 and carries 20 years of corporate banking experience. Prior to her tenure at Standard Chartered, she spent nearly a decade at Citibank N.A. Sri Lanka. Throughout her career at Standard Chartered, Tamani has worked and held senior leadership roles across multiple areas of Corporate Client Coverage. Most recently, she served as Head of Local and International Corporates before stepping into her current role.

Tamani is also a Board Director of the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) Sri Lanka and holds a BSc. in Accounting and Finance from the prestigious London School of Economics and Political Science along with an MSc. in Financial Economics from the University of Colombo.
