Union Assurance clinched multiple prestigious awards at the National Life Insurance Awards 2021, held at the Hilton Colombo recently.
The Insurance Association of Sri Lanka (IASL)’s Marketing and Sales Forum hosted the award ceremony as part of the 13th National Forum for Life Insurance Advisors (NAFLIA) Conference 2022.
The company congratulates the winners for their achievements in this industry’s preeminent competition, which aims to honour the Life Insurance sales professional’s outstanding performance. Union Assurance’s successes included winning four highly coveted Gold Awards in the National and the Large Company categories.
Tharmalingam Kubenthiran, leading the Jaffna and Nelliady branches was awarded two exclusive Gold Awards for Best Branch Manager in the National and the Large Company categories. Kasun Chandrasiri, leading the Western Province-North Region from the Nations Trust Bank Channel also triumphed with two Gold Awards for Best Supervisor/Team or Unit Leader in the National and the Large Company categories.
Govindasamy Mathiruban, leading the Vavuniya and Mullaitivu branches won two Silver Awards for Best Branch Manager in the National and the Large Company categories. Ishara Fernando, from the Chilaw branch also took home two Silver Awards for Best Supervisor/Team or Unit Leader in the National and Large Company categories.
Chanaka Appuhamy, from the Chilaw branch, secured the Bronze Award for Best Advisor in the Large Company category.
