Vidula Rajapakshe has been awarded “Master FinTech Professional” certification by the US-based Global Academy of Finance and Management (GAFM) for his contributions towards Fintech, digital banking and digital commerce.
Vidula is an executive committee member of the Fintech Association of Sri Lanka (FASL) and holds managerial position handling digital commerce at the Seylan Bank PLC.
Global Academy of Finance and Management (GAFM) is owned by the International Board of Standards (IBS), a certifying body based in Colorado, USA. IBS is a charter member signatory to the Washington, D.C. based Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and has had an agreement with the Kansas, USA based ACBSP Global Business Programs since 2004.
Some of the notable recipients previously honoured by the GAFM included The University of Hong Kong Kerry Holding’s Professor, Prof. Douglas Arner, Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) Chief Fintech Officer Sopnendu Mohanty, Singapore FinTech Association (SFA) Founding President Chia Hock Lai, ELEVANDI Japan Co-Founder Takeshi Kito , Fintech Galaxy Founder Mirna Sleiman , Vietnam Blockchain Corporation Founder Do Van Long, Ondato Founder and CEO Liudas Kanapienis, Crypto Oasis Co-Founder Saqr Ereiqat, Singapore FinTech Association (SFA) Chief Executive Officer Reuben Lim and Hatch Works Co-Founder Jeevan Gnanam.
