Wayamba University signs MoU with CFA Society Sri Lanka

The Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, represented by the Department of Banking and Finance, Faculty of Business Studies and Finance, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the CFA Society Sri Lanka recently at the University premises in Kuliyapitiya.

This strategic partnership aims to foster a long-term collaborative relationship focused on promoting ethical standards and industry best practices advocated by the CFA Institute. 

The MoU seeks to enhance academic and professional development through initiatives such as career mentorship programs, guest lectures by industry experts, and knowledge-sharing sessions designed to improve the employability and marketability of graduates.

Present at the occasion were Wayamba University of Sri Lanka Vice Chancellor Prof. Udith K. Jayasinghe, Business Studies and Finance Faculty Dean Prof. S.K. Gamage, and Registrar W.A. Don Chithrananda. Representing the CFA Society Sri Lanka were President Rashmi Peiris Paranavitane, Board Member and University Outreach Committee Chair Nuwan Jayawardana, and CEO Aruna Alwis.
