Facilitating growth and development opportunities for the private sector, the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce will conduct a webinar on ‘Listing Your Family Business on the Colombo Stock Exchange’ on 23 November from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. via MS Teams. 

Conducted in partnership with Acuity Partners, the webinar will focus on demystifying the process of listing companies on the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE), with industry experts offering comprehensive perspectives and advice on funding the growth of family businesses to reach their full potential. 

The session will introduce participants to the process of listing on the CSE, providing information on topics such as the requirements to be met in order to be eligible to list on the CSE as well as a summary of the continuous listing requirements, available options for listing and the board on which a company can be listed, and the advantages and disadvantages of listing. Common concerns of family businesses considering listing, including concern regarding control of the business, investor expectations, options available for funding growth and the future of the business, will also be addressed. 

Participants will have the opportunity to address questions and concerns to the panel during the Q&A session which will follow the presentation.
