It is said that good health equates to good wealth. Thus, taking into consideration the importance of maintaining ones good health and wellbeing, HSBC has spearheaded a medical scheme with seven leading hospitals in the country to offer cardholders expert health services at an affordable cost.

Under the new scheme valid until 31 August, 2013 at Asiri Surgical, The Central, Ceylinco Health Care Centre, Durdans Hospital, Hemas Hospital, Joseph Fraser Hospital and New Philip Hospitals (Pvt) Ltd., cardholders will be eligible for discounts on OPD and indoor health care checks, general health checks, laboratory investigations, eye care, dental care, cancer screening, room rates and many more with further savings on medicines at selected pharmacies, when they use their HSBC credit card.

They will also be able to opt for zero interest packages payable in equal monthly instalments for similar outpatient services and critical illness covers at these hospitals.

As a value addition, cardholders can look forward to medical checkups and programs that highlight the importance of good health conducted by leading practitioners specialising in their respective fields at the above mentioned hospital premises.

Apart from this, special medical camps and health seminars will be conducted for cardholders in distant areas, as well as mobile health services provided at their residence.

Cardholders will also be given an exclusive familiarisation tour of Aasiri hospitals and the opportunity to register for comprehensive health checks.

Head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management Nilantha Bastian stated, “Health is a primary concern to everyone and you never know when an unforeseen medical emergency may arise which could drain you financially.

We are happy to partner with seven leading hospitals in the country that are fully equipped with the latest medical facilities and equipment coupled with leading medical specialists to offer our cardholders the best treatment and health advice. He further said, “We hope this will prompt cardholders to proactively schedule health checks as it is now made more affordable to them.”
