With the dawn of 2011 the Life arm of Asian Alliance Insurance has launched their strategic plans to reaffirm the Company’s stand as a team of professionals determined to give nothing less than the best; an affirmation to start 2011 in top gear.
2010 was a testament of the vision, determination and passion of AAI; 35% business growth in Life insurance and a 10% increase in customer retention, achieved in a year punctuated by various obstacles.
2010 also recorded the innovative launch of the Premium Relief Plan initiated under the protection based Life product, which enabled AAI to strengthen the relationship shared with the customers. This further enhanced the Company’s position in adding value to the elite clientele that AAI caters to serve, with the Average Policy Value (APV) increasing to Rs. 53,000/- from Rs. 44,000/= in 2009; the highest in the industry from the inception of the Company.
Year 2010 was brought to an exceptional end, with the hard work, integrity and dedication of the Life sales force and the staff members including the Regional Distribution Network. In recognition of this, the 9th annual sales convention “Quality Awards 2010” themed “Voyage of Discovery – Navigating the tides of a new decade” was held to reward the exceptional individuals in the Life sales force.
Subsequently, in August 2010, the International Convention held in Mahabalipuram, India, saw the presentation of a plethora of awards ranging from Top Awards, Gold Awards, Gold Achiever and Super Achiever Awards to a crowd of over 100 Asian Alliance Insurance professionals. The Company also honoured their top 200 advisors with specialised IT facility, to further nurture and develop their outstanding talent.
“The success of 2010 can only fuel our determination to reach greater heights in the New Year. Our target of increasing Annualised New Business Premium (ANBP) by 25% in Life Insurance is more within our grasp now, than it has ever been before. The feat that remains is how soon we can achieve it. To set the plans for 2011 in motion, I’m happy to announce that 10 new branches are soon to be launched. I am confident that this factor will see us better equipped to extend the Asian Alliance promise to more people across the island.”, Chula Hettiarachchi, General Manager – Marketing & Sales of AAI stated.
Asian Alliance is always ready to rise to the challenge amidst the prevailing intricate tasks and reap the rewards with teamwork, passion and integrity which will enable the Company to conquer their destiny.
