AIA Sri Lanka Annual Report wins another award

Closely following the success of winning six awards from the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP), AIA Sri Lanka’s 2012 Annual Report has won yet another accolade, a Gold Award under the category ‘Traditional Annual Reports - Insurance Life and Health’ at the ARC Awards International XXVII presented by the International Academy of Communications Arts and Sciences honouring excellence in annual reports. Over 170 Judges from around the globe participated on the jury panels represented by leaders in the fields of investor relations, writing, design and photography at the 26th anniversary competition. ARC Awards will be presented during a Summit Celebration set for September 26th 2013 in New York City. The ARC Awards are bestowed for the values of creativity, clarity, effectiveness and excellence in the presentation of corporate information, expression of financial data and how well the spirit of the organisation is communicated. The 2012 Annual Report of AIA Sri Lanka used the theme ‘Born in Asia, built to last’ capturing the nation’s rich and long-lasting heritage and included a sustainability report in compliance with the Global Reporting Initiative version 3.1 detailing the company’s contribution to its stakeholders. AIA Sri Lanka Chief Executive Officer Shah Rouf said: “This evaluation of international excellence places our company amongst the best in a global context and is an achievement that demonstrates our professionalism and commitment to high quality.”
