AIA Wealth Planners recognised for outstanding performance

Outstanding performances of AIA Wealth Planners were recognised at the company’s annual Graduation and Sales Convention held recently at the BMICH for 1,250 sales professionals. Top performers were bestowed with Premier, Privileged and Senior titles for their accomplishment for the year at the ceremony which was followed by the Sales Convention. Those who proved their high calibre by qualifying to participate in the world’s most prestigious event for insurance sales professionals – the Million Dollar Round Table Conference as well as Wealth Planners who received the coveted LIMRA International Quality Awards were recognised for their accomplishments at the gala event. There were 13 MDRT members for 2013 and 15 IQA winners for 2014. Among them were four MDRT Life Members –D.G.A. Swarna, Ajith Fernando, Anuranga Perera and Priyantha Hapuarachchi. The highlights of the evening were the awarding of the topmost awards amidst great fanfare and applause. D.G.A. Swarna from the Anuradhapura Region was adjudged Best Wealth Planner – Life, for the sixth consecutive year. She had also attained the commendable position of ‘Top of the table’ at the Million Dollar Round Table for the fourth time.

The Best Wealth Planners’ Manager – Life was Vinol Priyasenarath from Moratuwa Region 2. Best Area Development Manager was Dileepa Ameendra from Tissamaharama. Primrose Samidon from Colombo Region 1 was adjudged the Best Distribution Unit Head. There were two new awards presented this year – Best Upcoming Wealth Planner – Male who was Krishan Dassanyake from Bandaragama ADO and Best Upcoming Wealth Planner – Female who was announced as M.K. Sandamali from Kiribathgoda Region 1. Congratulating the award winners, Deputy Chief Executive Officer Upul Wijesinghe said: “The accomplishments of our award winners are something we can be truly proud of not only as a company but also as a country – because it amply proves we are among the world’s best. MDRT Membership is a significant achievement and to meet the stringent criteria in such large numbers year after year is a great honour for AIA Sri Lanka.” Chief Executive Officer Shah Rouf commented: “Our Wealth Planners have once again proved that their commitment has won the trust and confidence of customers. It is a great badge of honour and recognition that speaks volumes for the kind of superlative service our Wealth Planners are trained to provide. ”
