AIA’s best Sri Lankan Wealth Planners take a trip in Group’s Corporate Jet!

AIA Group’s private corporate plane jetted into Colombo this month on a very special flight. On board was Mark Tucker, Group Chief Executive Officer and President of Asia’s largest life insurer and the fourth largest insurer in the world by market value.
This was Mark Tucker’s second visit within 12 months and marked the first anniversary of AIA acquiring its business in Sri Lanka, its 16th market in Asia.
During his brief visit, Mark Tucker met with senior Government officials and business partners in Colombo and then flew to the new Mattala Mahinda Rajapakse International Airport - to speak at a 1,000 strong gathering of AIA’s Wealth Planners at the Ruhunu Magampura International Conference Centre in Hambantota. However, Mr. Tucker did not fly alone and was joined on his flight by award winning AIA Wealth Planners - Ajith Fernando, Ms. Hushani Wimalasena, Anuranga Perera, K. W. Dassanayaka, Ms.S. Padmawathi, Ms M. N. D. Dharmasriya, M. B.Ravindra and on his return to Colombo by - A. P. Raj Chandralal, Roshan Weerakoon, C.Balasooriya, Ms. T. N. Gunaratna, S. Ranwatta, Ms. G. R. N. Deen, Ms M. G. K. Peiris, and K. Kengatharan, (Ms D. G. A. Swarna – AIA’s Best Wealth Planner for 2013 was unfortunately unable to join the milestone flight due to unavoidable reasons).
