Akuressa SDB gets a new look

The Akuressa Branch of SANASA Development Bank (SDB) was refurbished and re-opened at the same location on 18 January with the objective of providing more efficient and friendly service to its customers with more sophisticated facilities. 

SANASA Development Bank is a public quoted company with limited liability incorporated under the Companies act 17 of 1982 and re-registered under Companies act No.07 of 2007 and registered as a licensed specialised bank by Central Bank of Sri Lanka under the Banking Act no 30 of 1988, operates with a branch network of 87 branches all over the country. SDB branch has been able to provide the required financial strength to its customers as well as small and medium scale entrepreneurs in the area.

SDB Akuressa has been able to introduce a variety of banking products and services with a vast coverage of customers, from new born babies to all categories up to senior citizens. Those products and services comes under different brand names of ‘LakDaru’ Children’s Savings, ‘Jawaya’,  ‘Uththamavee’, ‘Upahara’, ‘Dashaka’, ‘SDB Aayojana’, ‘Swarnakirana’, ‘Ranmini’ Pawning Services, SDB Leasing,  SME Plus, etc,  introduced for the convenience of Bank’s customers.

S.K. Paranahewa heads the Akuressa branch and it has been serving the area for nearly last 18 years.

SDB Akuressa Branch was ceremonially opened with the participation of some prestigious invitees including Samadani Kiriwandeniya, Chairperson of SDB, Nimal C. Hapuarachchi, General Manager/CEO of SDB, two divisional secretaries of Akuressa and Athuraliya  and other distinguished guests from the public and private sectors including owners of the leading tea factories also participated.
