Amana Bank opened its 20th branch inNegombo on 29 April 2013 at No. 97, Colombo Road, Negombo.
The opening ceremony of the new branch was held under the patronage of Amana Bank’s Managing Director/CEO Faizal Salieh and Chief Operating Officer Mohamed Azmeer, together with members of the bank’s corporate management, customers and other invitees.
Speaking at this occasion, Salieh said: “We are happy to mark our 20th milestone in Negombo and are eager to build lasting and mutually rewarding relationships with the local community. Negombo is a strong fisheries hub, an important link in the coconut belt, a popular tourist destination and a developing commercial town. It will certainly benefit from our unique banking model which is based on the profit and loss sharing system and firmly bound by the principles of equity, fairness and justice.”
Customers of Negombo can now enjoy services such as current accounts, savings accounts, Resident Foreign Currency (RFC) accounts, Non Resident Foreign Currency (NRFC) accounts, children’s savings accounts, term investment accounts, housing finance, leasing facilities, SME banking, corporate banking, safety deposit lockers, trade services and treasury services. The branch also houses an ATM machine providing 24x7 access to customers.
