Theatre charges up to Rs. 7,500, surgeon’s fees of up to Rs. 25,000, anaesthetist’s fees of Rs. 5,000, as well as specialist charges of up to Rs. 5,000 are all included in the cover for policyholders who are between the ages of 18 and 55. Additionally, ‘Suwasiri’ covers examinations fees, x-rays, scans and MRIs for a sum of Rs. 5,000. A cover for hospitalisation is also provided as long as the individuals are admitted for less than three days at the cost of Rs. 15,000. If hospitalisation occurs at a Government hospital a cash grant of Rs. 500 per day is provided for a maximum of 21 days.
