AMW Capital Leasing, Multi Finance to list

Two more companies engaged in financial services are to list by way of introductions, the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) announced.

It said it has approved in-principle an application submitted by AMW Capital Leasing Ltd for the listing of its 20 million ordinary voting shares on the Diri Savi Board of the by way of an Introduction.

CSE also said it approved in principle an application submitted by Multi Finance Company Ltd. for the listing of 17.976 million of its ordinary voting shares on the Diri Savi Board by way of an Introduction.

These approvals add to the growing list of companies who are listing by way of introductions.

Some of the recent approvals include Swarnamahal Financial Services, Mercantile Investments Ltd., Bimputh Lanka Investments, Commercial Credit and Chilaw Finance.  

Listing of a few more finance companies are expected to be announced later on. All registered finance companies are required to list on the CSE as per a directive by the Central Bank.
