Anuradhapura SDB shifts to new location

The Anuradhapura branch of the Sanasa Development Bank (SDB) reached to its new premises on 1 December 2014. SDB Anuradhapura Branch was shifted to No. 12, Mithreepala Sirisena Mawatha, Anuradhapura, with the objective of providing more efficient and friendly service to its customers with more sophisticated facilities. Sanasa Development Bank which is approved and registered under specialised banks category, of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL), operates with a branch network of 82 branches all over the country. SDB Anuradhapura branch has been able to provide the required financial strength to its customers as well as small and medium scale entrepreneurs in the area. SDB has been able to introduce a variety of banking products and services with a vast coverage of customers, from new born babies to all categories of senior citizens. Those products and services comes under different brand names of ‘LakDaru’ Children’s Savings, ‘Jawaya’, ‘Uththamavee’, ‘Upahara’, ‘Dashaka’, ‘SDB Aayojana’, ‘Swarnakirana’, ‘Ranmini’ Pawning Services, SDB Leasing, SME Plus, etc, introduced for the convenience of bank’s customers. Recently introduced ‘Upahara’ Loan Scheme of SDB, offers loan facilities up to one million for retired government officers as well as retired officers from Central Bank of Sri Lanka and Ceylon Electricity Board. Anuradhapura Branch was ceremonially opened with the participation of some prestigious invitees including SDB Chairperson Samadani Kiriwandeniya, SDB Chief Executive Officer/General Manager Nimal C. Hapuarachchi, CBSL Anuradhapura Regional Manager P.R. Ariyarathna Banda, North Central Province Secretary to Ministry of Agriculture Ananda Kularatne, DGM – Credit and Development Finance E.A.A.S. Ediriwickrama, SDB Marketing and Co-operative Development AGM Sameera Liyanage and a few other top management officers from SDB.
