APB felicitates members who became bank CEOs

The Association of Professional Bankers (APB) in keeping with tradition, felicitated the following members for their new appointments at a ceremony held at the Galadari Hotel, Colombo recently.

They were Siromi Wickremasinghe – appointed as the Chairperson, HDFC Bank, H.S. Dharmasiri – appointed as the CEO/General Manager, People’s Bank and A.S. Amarasuriya – appointed as the Director/CEO, Union Bank of Colombo

APB holds a membership of over 900 professional bankers, and is affiliated to the Organisation of Professional Associations of Sri Lanka (OPA).

APB as its prime goal steers the development of its fellow bankers, the professionalism in the industry, and works towards uplifting the standards of banking. The membership of APB has now become a symbol of identity and recognition across the banking industry and is much sought after.
