Ariyaratne returns to DFCC with Board seat

Veteran banker H.A. Ariyaratne has been appointed as an Independent Director of DFCC Bank Plc.

He possesses extensive experience in development banking, investment banking, venture capital financing and fund management having been with DFCC Bank for over 30 years. He has served as the Executive Vice President (Lending), Senior Vice President (Special Loan Administration) and in many other positions through his career at the DFCC Bank. He also held the position of CEO Lanka Ventures Plc and served as a Director on the Board of DFCC Vardhana Bank Plc.

He is presently a Director of a number of companies in the Laugfs Group. Ariyaratne is a B.SC (Hons) (First Class) graduate from the University of Sri Lanka, Peradeniya.

With the latest appointment the Board of DFCC Bank Plc comprises of C.R. Jansz (Chairman), A. Fernando (CEO/Ex officio Director); K.D.N.R. Asoka, P.M.B. Fernando, T. Dharmarajah, S.R. Thambiayah, K.P. Cooray, V. J. Senaratne, L.N. de S. Wijeyeratne, L.H.A.L. Silva and H.A. Ariyaratne.
