Asia Asset Finance ties up with HNB for MoneyGram Services

Asia Asset Finance Plc (AAF), a finance company registered under the Central Bank of Sri Lanka in terms of Section 7(1) of the Finance Companies Act No. 78 of 1988, has tied up with the premier private sector commercial bank Hatton National Bank Plc to provide its customers resident overseas with inward remittance services through the MoneyGram network.
A technical service agreement with regard to this was signed in Colombo on 3 December at HNB Towers in the presence of representatives from the two organisations.
HNB’s partnership as a Super Agent of MoneyGram over the last 20 years has been strengthened with the association of Asia Asset Finance Plc (AAF), which has a rich history of over 42 years in the financial services sector.
The MoneyGram service will be accessible through all Asia Asset Finance Plc (AAF) branches across the country. The company has aggressive plans for 2014 which includes enhancing of its branch network, introducing new products and services and offering greater convenience to its customers.
Hatton National Bank was named the Best Retail Bank in Sri Lanka by the Asian Banker magazine for the sixth consecutive year and named the Bank of the Year in Sri Lanka for the second consecutive by the UK based Banker magazine.
