Big draw for Colombo Stock Brokers Association workshop

A large number of investment advisors attended the recently-held Colombo Stock Brokers Association (CSBA) organised one-day workshop promoting ethics and marketing skills.
The workshop held at Excel World was arranged to enhance the quality of financial selling skills and ethical marketing to all its investment advisors by a panel of professionals specialised in relevant fields. It was organised by CSBA’s Business Development Committee in collaboration with Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE).
SEC Chairman Dr. Nalaka Godahewa and CSE CEO Rajeeva Bandaranaike addressed the opening ceremony. Among subjects which expert insights will be shared on are ‘Effective Selling Skills’ by Prasanna Perera, ‘Leadership Qualities’ by Kishu Gomes, ‘Business Ethics and Relationship Building’ by Prasanna Perera and ‘Motivation’ by Niranjan De Silva.
