BOC promotes senior citizens accounts

Bank of Ceylon is promoting its senior citizens account for elders to face their future with confidence to its fullest. This account is designed to cater to the needs of senior citizens in the country with financial care where it rewards the account holders with an additional interest rate of 1% and special privileges.

Account holders are entitled to an ATM card to make withdrawals around-the-clock from over 1,000 Visa ATMs in the country. In addition, they will have the trust and assurance of the number one bank in Sri Lanka for their hard earned money collected over a period of time. Any Sri Lankan over 55 years of age qualifies to open a BOC Senior Citizens account with over 600 branches covering all parts of the country. In the case of a joint account, both applicants should exceed the age of 55. Contentment, assurance and peace of mind are now yours to enjoy with the senior citizens account that truly understands your needs. BOC also recently introduced the night banking facility at its Wellawatte branch and the 365-day banking facility at the head office in Colombo in case of emergencies.

Weekend banking facilities are also available at selected branches on Saturday and Sunday for added convenience. The 24/7 call centre is available in order to obtain any information on BOC’s products and services.

BOC Premier Banking customers are provided with dedicated, efficient and experienced relationship officers to serve them with utmost care. BOC’s relationship officers are well equipped with knowledge in investments and market opportunities to serve customers with confidence.
