BOC strikes Gold

The ARC Awards, dubbed as the Oscars of Annual Reports, is held each year in New York. ARC has a 25-year history and attracts over 2,000 entries from some of the world’s top companies, including those from Fortune 500 companies, the FTSE 100 companies and the top companies from Continental Europe.

Here, Bank of Ceylon Chairman Dr. Gamini Wickramasinghe receives the award in the US on Thursday 22 September 2011 for the bank’s Annual Report. Designed on the theme of ‘The Power of 1,’ the report was produced by Sri Lanka’s globally-renowned Smart Media, The Annual Report Company. The theme depicted the bank’s unparalleled standing in the country today – in terms of customer base, assets, reach and also the support extended to the Government in achieving its vision
