Boston Consulting Group’s Executive to speak on ‘Colombo as a Financial Hub’

Alpesh Shah, a Senior Partner and Managing Director of the Indian Unit of the Boston Consulting Group, will share his views on ‘Colombo as a Financial Hub’ at the upcoming Sri Lanka Economic Summit. Alpesh , who leads the insurance practice for BCG across the Asia Pacific will be the keynote speaker of ‘session 2’ of the upcoming summit which will discuss the ‘Rise of Asia as a Trading Bloc: An opportunity for Sri Lanka’. Following his speech, the Boston Consultancy’s Executive will join in for a panel discussion, which will also include the likes of Malik J. Fernando, Director Operations of MJF Holdings and Hanif Yusoof, CEO of Expolanka Holdings PLC, while it would be moderated by Alexis Lovell, Chairman of the Union Bank of Colombo PLC. The Sri Lanka Economic Summit, an annual event organised by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, will take place on 5 and 6 August in Colombo.
