The Southern Province Branch of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka and the HDFC Bank jointly held an awareness program for micro entrepreneurs in Ambalangoda recently.

Officials enlightened the participants of the many loan schemes available to them and how they should prepare project reports, the documents that should be submitted etc for speedy processing of loans.

“The awareness program was very successful and extremely helpful to small scale entrepreneurs who intend to set up their own business. We hope to hold similar awareness programs in every major town in the Southern Province,” said CBSL Regional Manager for the Southern Province Upali Hettiarachchi.

Divisional Secretary Ambalangoda H.N.S.T.K. de Silva, HDFC Bank Regional Manager (Southern Province) N.C. Ranjith and CBSL (Southern Province) Manager M.P. Anura addressed the large gathering.
