Life insurance leader Ceylinco Life has opened its new branch in Batticaloa in a custom-built building on company-owned land, further consolidating its presence in the east of Sri Lanka.
The four-storeyed building located at No. 32, Lloyd’s Avenue, Batticaloa, provides 12,320 square feet of space that accommodates four branches of the company.
The first floor is utilised as office space, while the top floor consists of a spacious training room that benefits the staff of the branch as well as those in nearby branches of Ceylinco Life, the company said.
The building also comprises an 80-person multi-function room, a rooftop recreational area, elevators and a spacious car park.
It is equipped with solar electricity, split-type air conditioning, a standby generator and a comprehensive fire fighting system, is designed for rainwater harvesting, and uses a combination of natural day time lighting, and energy efficient LED and T5 lighting.
“The services offered through this new office strongly underline our commitment to the people of Batticaloa and to offering the best services in the most environment-friendly manner,” Ceylinco Life’s Managing Director and CEO R. Renganathan said.
Ceylinco Life has been present in Batticaloa since 2002 and presently has five branch offices serving the town and its suburbs.
