Two groups of Ceylinco Life policyholders took China and Singapore in their stride recently, as the life insurance leader pulled out all the stops to provide them with a characteristically memorable overseas holiday. As part of the sixth edition of the ‘Ceylinco Life Family Savari’ program, 40 people from 10 policyholder families toured China for four days, while another 200 people from 50 policyholder families visited Singapore for three days.

The China tour included visits to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Great Wall, Bird’s Nest, a Pearl Factory, Ming dynasty tomb, the Silk Market, the Beijing Olympic Complex, Yashow Market and a Chinese Acrobat Show.

The group that visited Singapore was treated to visits to the Singapore Orchid Garden, Ginger Garden, a city tour, a day visit to Sentosa Island with cable car rides, and visits to the Red Temple, Marina Bay Sands and China Town as well as a shopping spree at Mustafa’s.

In April, another 2,000 people representing 500 Ceylinco Life policyholders and their family members spent a day of thrills and spills at the Leisure World theme park in Avissawella, also as part of ‘Family Savari 6’.

The grand prize of this year’s ‘Ceylinco Life Family Savari’ promotion is a holiday in Paris for five policyholders and their families. The promotion period for ‘Family Savari 6’ was from August to December 2012, during which all active long term Ceylinco Life policyholders as well as holders of Ceylinco Life Retirement Accounts (CRAs) were able to earn multiple winning chances up to a maximum of 10, at two draws. In all, 13,760 people belonging to the families of 3,440 policyholders have to date benefited under the Ceylinco Life’s ‘Family Savari’ series of promotions.
