Chandrika Wijitha Sri wins 17th edition of ‘People’s Bank Foreign Remittance Gold Fortune 2016’

Chandrika Wijitha Sri an account holder at the Kiribathgoda People’s Bank branch was the 17th lucky winner of the weekly People’s Bank Foreign Remittance Gold Fortune 2016.

Present to conduct the draw was People’s Bank Assistant General Manager (Credit) U.S. Gerty and People’s Bank Assistant General Manager OCS and Financial Institutions Nipunika Wijayarathne.

The draw was launched with the aim of promoting the use of People’s Instant Remit, People’s e-Remittance, Swift and Telex amongst those living and working abroad when sending money to their loved ones in Sri Lanka.

The promotion encourages people to make remittances of any amount to be eligible to receive a gold sovereign coin on a weekly basis for a period of 28 weeks up to December.
