Chandula to speak at Youth Financial Inclusion Forum in Toronto

Chandula Abeywickrema who serves in the Expert Advisory Board of the Washington based international board of the ‘Youth Save Consortium’ will make the expert brief and keynote presentation on the access to finance for youth as key strategy for youth empowerment globally at the Youth Financial Inclusion Forum hosted by Youth Save Consortium which will be held in Toronto, Canada.
‘Youth Save Consortium’ is a global initiative with the collaborative partnerships of Save the Children USA, New America Foundation, Washington University in St. Louis and Master Card Foundation.
‘Youth Save Consortium’ in its pursuit to create greater access to financial services to the youth across the world worked on a number of key initiatives and models in the last five years piloting strategic programs in four countries; Colombia, Ghana, Kenya and Nepal. Youth Save Forum which is to be held in Toronto, Canada from 16 to 19 March will highlight on some of the key findings of the pilot projects in the four countries and will deliberate on the future direction of financial inclusion to youth globally.
Abeywickrema who is also the Chairman of the Banking With The Poor Network (BWTP), Singapore based largest microfinance network is among the 10 leading global experts that serves in the Expert Advisory Board of the ‘Youth Save Consortium’. Chandula currently serves as the Managing Director/CEO of CCC Solutions which is a fully owned project management subsidiary of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce.
