The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) has announced a partnership with the Sri Lanka Foundation (SLF) based in Colombo.
This institutional collaboration is expected to lead to the implementation of CISI’s certificate courses in Global Financial Compliance and Combating Financial Crime in the interest of the financial industry specifically in the area of preventing financial crime.
The Sri Lanka Foundation is one of the foremost and pioneering adult education centres in Sri Lanka, an affiliated institute under the purview of Presidential Secretariat, also proudly in a strategic partnership with Open University of Sri Lanka, AMCHAM and SLIM.

The CISI is the largest and most widely respected professional body for those who work in the investment industry.

The CISI’s Combating Financial Crime qualification has been developed to tackle the financial crime agenda, take a global view of transnational crime and incorporates the Bribery Act (2010).

The CISI Global Financial Compliance qualification provides candidates with a broad understanding of the compliance issues that arise within the financial services industry and is particularly aimed at compliance officers and all compliance staff.
