The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) has embarked on paperless meetings using iPad enabled BoardPAC technology supplied by IronOne Technologies Ltd.
BoardPAC is a leading iPad-enabled board meeting automation solution and is the principal platform for paperless governance in more than 15 countries regionally including Malaysia, South Africa, Singapore, Bangladesh and Indonesia.
BoardPAC is a Sri Lankan developed highly secure software solution that has received the ISO 27001 Information Security Management System certification.
CSE Chairman Vajira Kulatilake said: “The CSE strives to be a leader in the use of green technologies and this is one such example. Moving from paper-based meetings to paperless iPad enabled meetings is one of many strides that the CSE is making in the drive to increase productivity and efficiency using suitable and cost effective technologies.”
Colombo Stock Exchange CEO Rajeeva Bandaranaike added: “The CSE has moved into paperless board meetings using BoardPAC technology and we are happy with this decision. BoardPAC is a user friendly and high security enabled solution which facilitates efficient governance and promotes an eco-friendly approach by reducing use of paper.”
BoardPAC is used by several large corporates in the financial sector including stock exchanges in the region such as Bursa Malaysia, the Malaysian Stock exchange.
