Commercial Bank and CBSL conduct seminars for entrepreneurs

The Commercial Bank of Ceylon recently organised three programs on entrepreneurship development for micro, small and medium scale entrepreneurs in the areas of Moneragala and Wellawaya, Badulla, Passara, Bandarawela and Welimada; and Weligama, Koggala and Karapitiya.
Conducted in collaboration with the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, these seminars were attended by a total of 220 entrepreneurs nominated by Commercial Bank branches in these areas and the National Enterprise Development Authority (NEDA).
All of these seminars included presentations by Central Bank Additional Director Regional Development Department (RDD) M.S.K. Dharmawardena, supported by other resource persons from the Central Bank and Officers of the Development Credit Department of Commercial Bank. The respective Regional Managers of Commercial Bank and representatives of the bank’s branches in the areas covered by the seminars also attended.
