Commercial Bank expands presence in Wattala

The Commercial Bank of Ceylon has opened its third service point in Wattala to serve the bank’s ever growing customer base in the area.

Located at the Arpico Super Centre at Negombo Road Wattala, the Commercial Bank’s new Supermarket Banking Counter stays open from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., seven days a week and serves as a 365-day banking centre.

It is equipped with an Automated Teller Machine that is linked to the bank’s network of 404 ATMs and 190 branches.

Wattala area is also served by the main Commercial Bank branch located on the Colombo-Negombo Road and by a Minicom at the Cargills Food City.  

The new service point brings the number of Commercial Bank Supermarket Banking Centres in the country to 27.

Commercial Bank has been adjudged Sri Lanka’s ‘Bank of the Year’ seven times by ‘The Banker,’ ‘Best Bank in Sri Lanka’ for 12 consecutive years by ‘Global Finance’ Magazine, and the Best Bank in Sri Lanka twice by FinanceAsia. It has also been rated ‘Best Local Trade Bank’ in Sri Lanka by the UK based ‘Trade Finance’ magazine.
