Commercial Bank opens 24-hour banking centre near BIA

Commercial Bank has opened its first 24-hour Banking Centre in Sri Lanka in the vicinity of the Bandaranaike International Airport at Katunayake, providing convenient round-the-clock access to banking facilities to out and in-bound travellers as well as residents of the area.

Services offered at this location, Commercial Bank’s 210th in Sri Lanka, include exchange of foreign currency, encashment of travellers’ cheques, opening of accounts, payment of utility bills, withdrawals and deposits, issue of pay orders and local drafts, handling of ‘e-Exchange’ and ‘Moneygram’ transactions and other facilities offered at standard Commercial Bank branches.

The new Banking Centre is located at No. 881, TZ – Towers, Negombo Road.

“The opening of Commercial Bank’s first 24-hour Banking Centre represents an important milestone in the Bank’s initiatives to meet the changing needs of customers,” a spokesperson for the bank said.
