The Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC has opened another Supermarket Banking Counter at Katukurunda in Kalutara, increasing its delivery points in Sri Lanka to 189. The new ‘Minicom,’ is housed at the Cargills Food City branch at No 919, Galle Road, Katukurunda.
This service point is linked to all other branches and supermarket banking counters of the bank islandwide, enabling online real-time banking. The Minicom Centre is open from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. daily.
It is the latest addition to the bank’s 25 Supermarket Banking Counters and seven 365 Day Banking Centres and will provide year-round banking facilities to customers in Kalutara as well as the surrounding towns such as Nagoda, Dodangoda, Kalamulla and Payagala. With this unit, Commercial Bank has extended its unique banking facility to another major town south of Colombo while adding to the network of branches on the Galle Road, the bank said.
