The Commercial Bank has once again offered its ‘Dine and Smile’ promotion to the bank’s Credit and Shopping Debit cardholders enabling them to enjoy their favourite meals at a significant cost saving.

Under the promotion, a 25 per cent discount will be offered on dining bills between 19 June and 31 August 2011 at select restaurants. These include “Emerald” and “Tandoor” restaurants of Ceylon Continental Hotel, Pizza Hut, Jack Tree, Mango Tree, Barista, Urban Kitchen, Loon Tao, Prima Taste, Raja Bojun and Bars Café in Colombo and Devon Captain’s Table, Senani Restaurant and Oak-Ray Regency in Kandy.

These discounts will add to the benefits already offered by Comdeals, a programme which provides value addition to cardholders through discounts at a number of major retail outlets in the country and zero per cent easy payment schemes for credit cardholders. Commercial Bank cardholders are also eligible to participate in global promotions carried out by Visa and Mastercard.

“Dining out is becoming increasingly popular but many people are deterred by the expense it entails,” Lakshman Perera, Head of Commercial Bank’s Card Centre said. “This promotion rewards our cardholders enabling them to dine out at discounted rates.”

“At Commercial Bank our customers take first priority and hence we design consistent promotional offers that make Commercial Bank credit and shopping debit cards a preferred choice of payment,” Perera added.

The Commercial Bank’s operations in Sri Lanka consist of 198 branches and Supermarket Banking counters and an ATM network of 420 terminals. The Bank has been adjudged Sri Lanka’s ‘Bank of the Year’ seven times by ‘The Banker,’ ‘Best Bank in Sri Lanka’ for 13 consecutive years by ‘Global Finance’ Magazine, and the Best Bank in Sri Lanka twice by FinanceAsia. It has also been rated ‘Best Local Trade Bank’ in Sri Lanka twice by the UK based ‘Trade Finance’ magazine.
