Continental Insurance revitalised with cutting-edge DMS Oracle ERP solution

DMS Software Technologies (Pvt) Ltd (DMSSWT), a Gold Level Member of the Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), successfully completed the implementation of the Oracle E-Business Suite solution at Continental Insurance Lanka Limited. The new system will substantially help the company increase its overall efficiency and accuracy in financial transactions.

The Oracle solution was combined with a pre-existing General Business System (GBS) at Continental Insurance via a customized program developed by a team of engineers from DMSSWT to ensure the best possible results, by introducing “Straight through processing”.

“Since the solution was implemented by the DMSSWT team, they made sure that all our needs were met for the best possible implementation of the Oracle system and the optimal performance of our pre-existing GBS,” said Continental Insurance Head of Finance Shanuka Jayarathna.

DMS Software Technologies provided the solution design and implementation services, assisted with data migration, trained the Continental Insurance staff in using the system, and supported the company’s efforts to build knowledge of Oracle products. The insurance company also engaged DMS Software Technologies for Post-Implementation support.

“In our industry a lot of financial transactions occur daily and it’s imperative that we maintain accuracy and reliability. With this implementation, there’s no room for error since we no longer have to monitor and maintain everything manually,” Jayarathna added.
