Crowds flock to Sri Lanka Insurance Deyata Kirula stall

The Government owned largest and the strongest insurer was seen again shouldering a magnanimous social task of being one of the main sponsors of the largest national event of its kind at the Deyata Kirula exhibition held at the Wayamba University Grounds, Kuliyapitiya, which brought in massive infrastructure development, especially roads and public facilities to the Wayamba Province. Sri Lanka Insurance carried out a massive Life insurance awareness campaign in the Wayamba region parallel to the national exhibition, taking protection to all corners of the region. The awareness campaign was designed to show the importance of a life insurance, the protection it brings to an individual and the loved ones in times of adversity. The campaign was a massive success with many realising the importance of Life insurance ready to take the first step by investing in Sri Lanka Insurance’s Life policy. Sri Lanka Insurance’s stall at the Deyata Kirula exhibition was structured as a replica of its head office building at Vauxhall Street, Colombo 2, a historical monument instrumental in providing protection to the people of this nation for over five decades. Talent competitions for children and quiz programs were conducted at the Sri Lanka Insurance stall at Deyata Kirula, attracting massive crowds to the stall. Sri Lanka Insurance also partnered the Deyata Kirula Sports Fiestas concentrated on three main sporting disciplines, which is coherent to the country – the cycle race, which kicked off from Tangalle and travelled cross country, to the finish line in Kuliyapitiya; the elle tournament, which was a massive success with a record participation of 294 teams; and the national sport volleyball. Sri Lanka Insurance, the premier insurer in the country, is committed to serve the nation and its people providing innovative and customer friendly insurance solutions at all times, while upholding its reputation as an organisation that is committed to the social and economic development of the country.
