Customers’ Day celebration by Indian Bank

Indian Bank, one of the leading India based public sector banks, celebrated ‘Customers’ Day’ on 11 September in all its 2,382 branches across the world. As a part of this celebration, Indian Bank Colombo branch organised a customer meet at its premises at No 57 Baron Jayathilake Mawatha Fort Colombo-1 at 4 p.m. on the same day. Leading business personalities and corporate representatives participated in the function. CEO of the bank, Praveen Kumar Dangi addressed the gathering. He informed that Indian Bank commenced its business on 15 August 1907 in India 40 years before the independence of India. Indian Bank stepped into Sri Lanka in 1932 thus completing 82 years of its existence in the island. The customers were briefed about the existing facilities the bank provides and the new services and products it is going to introduce in the near future.
