DFCC Vardhana Bank (DVB), the everyday banking unit of DFCC Bank, opened an extension office at the Narahenpita Economic Centre. The Chief Guest at the occasion was Minister of Cooperative and Internal Trade Johnston Fernando.
Extending its reach to the Economic Centre, DVB continues to reach out to its customers, catering to their individual needs and making their services available.
“Opening an extension office at the Narahenpita Economic Centre is certainly one way of extending our services to our customers. This extension office is unique, in its banking hours and the services we offer, as well as its location. This is DVB’s first branch at an Economic Centre in the country, and we are looking at opening more branches at other Economic Centres as well,” DFCC Bank CEO Lakshman Silva said.
This new extension of DVB’s services will operate during extended banking hours, from 5p.m. to 10 p.m. daily in order to cater to the hours of operation at the Economic Centre.
DVB will offer a wide range of commercial banking services such as current and savings accounts, Vardhana Junior accounts, fixed deposits, NRFC/RFC, money transfer services, OD facilities, remittance services, Vardhana Leasing facilities and over-the-counter bill payments as well. All these services will be offered along with the support of DFCC Vardhana Bank’s Borella branch.
