Recently rebranded Divasa Finance Limited has opened its first branch since receiving its finance company licence in the bustling town of Kalutara. The branch is located at No. 697/2, Kalutara South, Kalutara.
The branch was declared open by the Chairman of the Kalutara Urban Council M. N. M. Jauffer amidst a gathering of the chairman and the board of directors along with other management, staff, customers and well wishers.
Speaking at the opening the CEO of Divasa Finance Lakshman Uduwara said, “Kalutara is a very populous town which services many feeder towns in the vicinity. We are very keen to assist the entrepreneurs in the area who are engaged in industries such as fishing, rubber, tourism and tea, which fuel the local economy. We have handpicked staff who are familiar with the area and know the pulse of the local people. Our board of directors are keen to have our foot prints in several key towns and today we are here due to the encouraging support offered by them in our expansion drive.”
Divasa in Sinhala means the third eye, having the ability to foresee the future. With the grant of the finance company licence, the company has restated its strategic objectives to be on par with the perceived high profile of the company. Along with the rebranding, its city office in Colpetty has been moved to a spacious new building on Station Road, Colpetty with ample parking facilities and conveniently accessible to customers.
