Dr. Ajantha appointed to CDB Finance Board

Top professional Dr. Ajantha Dharmasiri has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Citizens Development Business Finance Plc with effect from l February 2012. Dr. Dharmasiri is a Commonwealth AMDISA Doctoral Fellow and a Fulbright Postdoctoral Fellow holding a Ph.D and an MBA from the Postgraduate institute of Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa.

He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Management (UK), having over two decades of both private and public sector working experience in diverse environment including Unilever and Nestle.

He has engaged in consultancies in more than ten countries in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

His appointment follows the vacancy created by the resignation of H.P.G.V. Gunawardena as Non Executive Director with effect from February 1, 2012.
