Professional Central Banker Dr. Ranee Jayamaha yesterday launched the first-ever book on the payment system of Sri Lanka. Titled ‘The Money Pipeline,’ the book explores the payment system as a pillar of financial stability and provides an easy-to-read guide to the complicated world of financial plumbing. Dr. Jayamaha is currently the Chairperson of Hatton National Bank and Advisor on Banking to the President, having completed an illustrious career at the Central Bank where she served as Deputy Governor in charge of Financial System Stability. Chief Guest at the launch was Senior Minister for International Monetary Cooperation Dr. Sarath Amunugama whilst Finance Secretary Dr. P.B.
