ETI Finance appoints new CEO

The former CEO of Swarnamahal Financial Services PLC (SFS) Sameera Ganegoda has taken up the rank of CEO for ETI Finance Ltd., a part of EAP Holdings. Ganegoda was appointed CEO of ETI Finance Ltd. with a view of spearheading the operations to greater heights. However Ganegoda will continue as a Non-Executive Director for SFS. He counts of over 15 years of experience in the fields of finance and audit and holds a Business Management Degree from the University of Kelaniya and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka. He previously held the position of General Manager, Finance and Administration for Edirisinghe Trust Investments Ltd. from 2006-2009. The appointment has been approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka has been warmly welcomed by the board of directors of EAP Holdings. ETI Finance, a member of EAP Holdings, owns a 90% stake of SFS PLC and is one of the leading and largest growing finance companies in Sri Lanka. ETI Finance is licensed under the Monetary Board of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka and is chaired and led by Jeewaka Edirisinghe. EAP Holdings is one of the largest and leading conglomerates in Sri Lanka with a history of over 75 years. The group has diversified into different fields such as jewellery, media and entertainment, hotels and hospitality, real estate and property development, leasing and finance to name a few.
