Exciting discounts from hotels for BOC credit and debit cards

Bank of Ceylon (BOC) is offering exciting discounts for BOC debit and credit cards throughout the year 2013. Under this programme discounts are offered up to 50% for the selected hotels and restaurants.

Hotel Ranna Tangalle, Platinum Resorts (Pvt) Ltd. Marawila and Citrus Hikkaduwa offer discounts up to 50%. In addition, Pegasus Reef Hotel Wattala and Calamander Unawatuna Beach discounts will be up to 30%. Many more hotels and restaurants will be offering discounts ranging from 5% to 50% where BOC card holders can spend great holidays sharing fun and joy with family and friends.

BOC offers a range of credit cards such as Platinum (black), International Gold, International Classic, Local Gold, and Local Classic cards through VISA International. Titanium, Master Gold and Master Standard cards are offered through Master Card International. There are also specially designed credit cards for professionals too (GMOA credit card for doctors and a special affinity credit card for chartered accountants). BOC Platinum, International Gold and Titanium cards carry a microchip security feature.

BOC provides many benefits to their card holders. The benefits includes emergency hospitalisation limit enhancement facilities, loyalty points and point redemption facilities, free SMS alerts as a measure of security, cash advance up to 50% of available credit limit from any ATM, supplementary cards for third party, internet banking and, instalment payment plans at their merchant network.

The BOC Platinum card is also specially bundled with travel insurance with accidental cover up to $ 250,000, medical expenses cover up to $ 100,000, lost baggage insurance cover during air travel up to $ 1000 and much more. BOC International Gold provides free life insurance or permanent disability cover up to Rs. 100,000 which includes lost baggage insurance cover during air travel.  

All these benefits are subject to the stipulated terms and conditions of the bank.
