Foundation stone laid for People’s Bank Hakmana branch

The foundation stone for the construction of a new branch building of the People’s Bank, Hakmana branch was laid recently by the Minister of Investment Promotion Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena, amidst a distinguished gathering of invitees which included Chairman, People’s Bank and People’s Leasing and Finance PLC Gamini Sedara Senarath, People’s Bank CEO/GM N. Vasantha Kumar and People’s Leasing and Finance PLC CEO/GM D.P. Kumarage.
Also present at this occasion were DGM, Operations Boniface Silva, DGM, Banking Services Mahinda Premanath, Ceylon Bank Employees Union President and AGM Branch Operations A.K. Bandara, AGM, Southern Region K.D.J. Perera, Regional Manager – Matara J.A. Amarasiri and Divisional Secretary, Matara C. Widanagamaachchi.
A large number of staff members, customers and members of the public were also present at this occasion.
